Blue Note Recording Artist and Multi-Grammy-Award Winner Cassandra Wilson is a world renowned vocalist, songwriter and producer. At heart Cassandra is a Mississippi girl whose art reflects her deep musical and cultural roots. After studying with Ellis Marsalis in New Orleans, she established her career in New York City. She has since moved back and rediscovered her Mississippi roots. Cassandra makes her return to The Music Hall on the heels of her 2009 Grammy-Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album; Loverly.
